JOB DESCRIPTION INSPIRE REHAB 

We have a great opportunity to join a small lifestyle based hand therapy clinic in Paraparaumu, on the Kapiti Coast, just 40mins North of Wellington City in New Zealand. Paraparaumu is a small family friendly beachside community with easy access to the capital city (via train or motorway). The surrounding area includes hunting, fishing, swimming at beaches, hiking, tramping, surfing, and a native bird sanctuary (Kapiti island) 3km off the coast. 

We offer a competitive based salary with flexibility of hours worked to suit the applicant. We will cover the full cost of your APC (annual practicing certificate) and Physiotherapy or Occupational therapy annual subscriptions and HTNZ (hand therapy New Zealand membership) each year. Along with covering training costs towards the New Zealand Hand Therapy qualification. The applicant would ideally be an experienced Hand Therapist, or a New Zealand registered Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist who is interested in becoming a hand therapist. Hours and days of work are flexible for the applicant as maintaining a healthy work/life balance is very important to us. The days of work are Monday to Friday with full time or part time hours available. There are currently four other therapists working in the clinic. 

Requirements

SKILLS,  EXPERIENCE  AND  EDUCATION: 
Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Diploma of Physiotherapy, or Bachelor of 
Occupational Therapy – and registered under your appropriate body ie 
Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand, or Occupational Therapy Board of New 
Zealand - or American equivalency
A current APC for the practicing year. 
ACC registered therapist - we will arrange for this
Holds a current first aid certificate.
